Magical Girl Game Jam 4 submission

Only one member of the Shinhigaku high school chess club remains, its president, Kazuko.  Soon this will all be over, soon you will have your revenge for what they did to your beloved Hara.  All that is needed is to find Kazuko and make her pay.

Controls

Use Left Stick or W, A, S, and D to move.

While standing, tap B or Left Shift to Backstep

While moving, tap B or Left Shift to Roll

Hold B or Left Shift to Sprint

Press Left Stick or Right Shift to toggle walking/jogging

Press Right Shoulder, H, or Left Mouse button to attack with sword

Press Right Trigger, U, or Right Mouse button to attack with shield

• With the correct timing, Sword and Shield attacks can be chained together

Press D-pad Right or Right Arrow to drink a health potion

Press D-pad Left or Left Arrow to select a spell to cast

Press D-pad Down or Down Arrow to open your inventory

Press D-pad Up or Up Arrow to open the map

Hold Left Shoulder or Left Alt to guard with your shield

Press Left Trigger or Left CTRL to cast a spell

Note: Due to family and personal commitments I no longer have time to code the actual ending to the game.  There is no new story content after the confrontation with Kazuko.
